Notice: In terms of Section 11 of the Electricity Regulation Act, 2006 (Act No. 4 of 2006); NOA Group Trading (Pty) Ltd hereby notifies all residents in the City of Cape Town, Blouberg; Tlhabane, Rustenberg; Margate, Ray Nkonyeni Municipality; City of Johannesburg, Sandton; City of Johannesburg, Midrand; and Makhanda, Makana that a trading licence application has been lodged with the National Energy Regulator (NERSA) to operate a trading licence.  

Subject to the approval of the Energy Regulator, the trading activities will be the purchase by NOA Group Trading (Pty) Ltd of renewable energy from a wind farm project near Makhanda (previously known as Grahamstown) in the Eastern Cape Province, and the sale thereof to a large hospital group at 6 chosen customer sites located in Sunningdale (Blaauwberg, Cape Town, Western Cape Province), Tlhabane (Rustenburg, North West Province), Margate (KwaZulu-Natal Province), Sandton CBD (Johannesburg, Gauteng), Sunninghill (Johannesburg, Gauteng Province), and Midrand (Johannesburg, Gauteng Province).

All interested parties and/or any member of the public may lodge written objections with NERSA, within 30 days (excluding public holidays) from the date of this publication. Such objections must be in a form of an affidavit and must be directed to NERSA through any of the addresses below:
