Special Conditions:

• Only tenderers who satisfy the eligibility and responsiveness criteria stated in the Tender Conditions and Tender Data (Clause C.2.1) and Special Conditions (Clause C.3.13.) are eligible to submit tenders. It is estimated that tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 5ME or higher and must be a B-BBEE level 3 contributor or higher. (Only B-BBEE Level 1, 2 and 3 can submit offers).
• Contractors registered as potentially emerging (PE) enterprises with the CIDB who are registered in one contractor grading designation lower than that required in terms of the total sum tendered are also eligible to tender.
• The Siyathemba Municipality Procurement and Supply Chain Management Policies, the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, Act No 5 of 2000 and the regulations promulgated under this act as well as functionality criteria as stipulated in the tender document shall apply in the adjudication and awarding of the tender.

PLEASE NOTE:

• A non-refundable tender deposit of R300.00 payable in cash only is required on collection of the tender documents from iX engineers.
• Tender documents will not be available electronically and only in hard copy at the compulsory site inspection meeting. Tenderers interested in submitting a tender must reserve a tender document from iX engineers per email at herman.s@ixengineers.co.za to ensure availability without delay.
• Only tenderers who attend the compulsory site inspection meeting are eligible to submit tenders.
• Sealed tenders, endorsed with the
  corresponding tender number and description, must be placed in the tender box in the foyer of Siyathemba Municipality, Victoria Street, Prieska, 8940. Please note that the tender box is only available between Monday and Friday from 08:00 to 16:00.
