The mandatory requirement for the contracts be as follows:

• Original valid Company Tax Clearance Certificate must be attached.
• In the case of the Joint venture original valid company Tax Clearance must be attached of all parties
• Copy of company registration certificate reflecting active members (Except for sole traders and partnerships) must be attached.
• Sealed Bids should clearly indicate: Bid number
• All supplementary forms including Municipal Rates and Taxes Clearance certificate form contained in the bid documents must be completed in full or (submit a proof that the municipal rates and taxes are not in arrears for more than three months).
• Copy of company profile and proposal be attached
• Failure to comply with the above mentioned conditions may invalidate your bid.

PLEASE NOTE:

• No bids will be accepted from persons in the service of the states.
• No telegraphic, telefax and late bids will be accepted
• Canvassing will automatically disqualify your bid
• The lowest bid/proposal will not necessarily be accepted and the Municipality reserves the right to accept where applicable a part or portion of any bid or where possible accepts bids or proposals from multiple bidders.
