Special Conditions: A two-stage bidding process will be followed, where the first stage involves minimum percentage qualification for functionality as a criterion and the second stage price and specific goals points. Bidders are required to submit an originally certified copy of the company’s certificate(s) issued by the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) as well as an originally certified copy of the company directors (shareholders) certificate(s) issued by the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA). Bid closes at (postal address): Department Social Development, Private Bag X5042, Kimberley, 8300.

PLEASE NOTE:

1. Bidders are required to submit the printed, valid Tax Compliance Status Pin Certificate in order for the Department to view supplier’s tax profile and verify compliance with tax.
2. This bid will be evaluated and adjudicated in terms of the 80/20 point system prescribed by the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 05 of 2000 and its revised Regulations 2022.  80 Points for price, 20 points for specific goals.  In order to qualify for the latter, kindly refer to NCP 6.1 for the allocation of points.
3. Bidders are required to submit their detailed Central Suppliers Database (CSD) registration report (not the summary report) together with the bid document.  The date of the report must be the latest i.e. at least 5 days before bid closure.
4. The Department reserves the right to award the contract(s) to various bidders complying with bid specifications and scoring the highest points.
5. Names of bidders that submitted bids will be published on the website of the Office of the Premier: www//northern-cape.gov.za and/or e-tender portal on Friday, 31 March 2023.
6. Bidders could obtain details of successful/ unsuccessful information on e-tender portal after 120 days after closure of bid.
