Job Purpose

According to the CET Act, Act 16 of 2006, as amended. Ten (10) external members must serve on the College Council whereby the appointment of five (5) persons is done by the Minister in terms of Section 10 (4) (b) of the Act. The Council, in consultation with the Minister, must appoint 4 additional members in terms of section 10 (6).
The public, business, industry and any other relevant organization are invited to nominate suitably, qualified and interested persons to make their contribution towards skills, social and economic development via the College, and have the knowledge and relevant qualifications as members of the Ehlanzeni College Council.

Minimum Requirements

- Financial Management, Risk, Auditing and proven practical experience
- Human Resource management, labour legislations and general people management skills
- ICT and ICT Governance
- Law
- Business and industry experience at Senior Management level (proven strategic and leadership skills)

Remuneration

Members will be remunerated according to the College Council’s remuneration policy in line with National Treasury Regulations
