Job Purpose

To contribute to curriculum development and to teach according to a set syllabus while providing support to the faculty in pursue of achieving its academic objectives, and to contribute to 
academic initiatives undertaken by the faculty to enhance learning while promoting entrepreneurship learning in according to the needs of the community, and to support and expand programmes for 
co-operative education to achieve this objective. To support faculty research initiatives through undertaking research and contributing towards group research.

Minimum Requirements

▪  A Doctoral Degree in Fashion Design
▪  At least four (4) years’ relevant Lecturing experience in Higher Education
▪  Successful supervision of post-graduates to completion
▪  Record of publications in peer reviewed journals
▪  Knowledge of Fashion design related software packages

Recommendations
▪  At least 2 years’ experience in Fashion Design Industry

▪  At least two (2) years’ relevant Lecturing experience in Higher Education
▪  Knowledge of Fashion design related software packages

At least one years’ experience in Fashion Design Industry.

Participate in curriculum development

Perform appropriate academic and administrative duties in the Department Participate in the Quality

Contribute to community initiatives by integrating community interventions into curriculum.

Develop and maintain linkages with industry and professional bodies on co-operative education, new techniques/technologies, and research projects

Assist with marketing and recruitment activities

Perform other functions as may be assigned by the Head of Department
