Grade 12 and B com in Accounting/Finance or similar qualification and Pastel Advanced training certificate.

Recommendation

Driver’s licence and knowledge of the WAS program will be an added advantage.

Key Performance Areas

The Vaalharts Water User Association is seeking a hands-on accounting strong female or HDI male to fulfil the role of Financial Manager who is able to calculate and process all activities her/himself if needed and otherwise provide firm direction to their staff and the company on proper financial processing and bookkeeping and perform amongst other tasks:

1. Financial Management and Bookkeeping

2. Debtors Processing & Management

3. Creditors Processing & Management

4. Procurement and Assets Processing & Management

5. Payroll Processing & Management

6. Cash Processing & Management

7. Personnel Management of Department

8. Any reasonable instruction as received from CEO

Competencies

Minimum 5 years’ financial management, accounting and experience in finance plus 2 years’ experience in Pastel.

Remuneration

R 45 196.51 per month plus housing, medical allowances, pension fund employer contribution and 13^th cheque
