- Masters in Business Administration will be an added advantage.

- 3-5 Years of relevant experience in enterprise development.

- Understanding of renewable energy policy and finance.

- Valid driver’s licence.

Key Performance Areas

He/she must advocate/promotes organization and stakeholder change related to the organization’s mission; interface between organization, community and stakeholders in the renewable energy sector; Oversees strategy development and implements organization plans and Identification of management of relationships and outcomes with key strategic partners

Competencies

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors the Centre Manager (CM) will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the long-term strategy of NOCSOBI to establish a financially sustainable and operationally effective incubator and stakeholder in the renewable energy sector in South Africa. The CM leadership role entails being ultimately responsible for all day-to-day management decisions and for implementing Company’s long- and short-term plans. The CM acts as a direct liaison between the Board and the management of the company and communicates to the Board on behalf of management. The CM also communicates on behalf of the company to shareholders, employees, Government authorities, other stakeholders, and the public.

Remuneration

R811 560.00R 952 485.00 per annum (inclusive salary package).

Northern Cape Solar Energy Business Incubation Incubator (NOCSOBI) is one of the Department of Economic Development and Tourism (DEDaT) Technology Programme incubators located in Kimberley, Northern Cape. The incubator is currently administered by the Northern SMME Trust on behalf of the Department. The Incubator, structured as a non-profit company (NPC) together with its strategic partners aims to unlock opportunities, provide non-financial business development support, facilitate access to technology, contribute to the diffusion of new technologies and innovations, facilitate linkages, and create an enabling and nurturing environment for emerging, startup and existing enterprises within the Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency Savings sector. NOCSOBI aims to introduce and phase in a range of diverse programs, projects and services/products and is looking for dynamic innovative-thinking and enterprising individuals to be part of an energetic team to drive enterprise development in the Renewable Energy sector.
