Learning to love your kinks

More African women are embracing their natural kinky hair, and most will share the challenging journey to achieving healthy curls.

This is also true for beauty entrepreneur Sinovuyo Mondliwa.

Mondliwa started her YouTube channel in 2016 to bust haircare myths and share her personal struggles with caring for her growing type 4 natural hair.

Her story evolved from hair chronicles to tutorials, eventually leading to the launch of her haircare range, Love Kinks, now available at Clicks stores nationwide.

In an interview with Cindy Nell-Roberts, Mondliwa discusses overcoming dull, brittle, and breaking hair.

“People want solutions. They don’t want to buy products and still wonder what to do with them,” says Mondliwa, and her four-step range aims to meet this need.
