WHY THE
NEXT GENERATION OF BRAVE
The 2020 calendar thus far could read as January, February, March, LOCKDOWN. With the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic schools, universities and businesses have had to close during the various stages of lockdown. Significant changes to our daily living has been experienced which has resulted in the dampening of the spirit of many South African residents. In light of this, and to work towards restoring belief and hope, it is Adcock Ingram OTC’s ambition to encourage the budding HealthCare Professionals (HCPs) of South Africa, to continue to make a difference in the world and to recognise many of these individuals for their selfless sacrifice during the surge of the coronavirus infection. The HCP fraternity including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, paramedics, and other allied specialities. To promote career development in the healthcare sector, Adcock Ingram OTC is creating a platform for healthcare students and recently qualified healthcare graduates / community service incumbents to realise their dream of serving our beloved Country. Adcock Ingram OTC has embarked on a journey to aid these students financially in their studies and to provide them with impactful mentorship from academic, professional and industry leaders. This campaign will allow future healthcare professionals to nominate themselves or be nominated by peers and other South African residents for a life-changing opportunity under the banner of bravery. Additionally, their mentors could also stand a chance to receive continued professional development by attending an overseas congress of their choice. This campaign is not just about these fearless young people and their mentors, but a call to action to all South African residents to recognise, celebrate and empower the “NEXT GENRATION OF BRAVE” HCPs in our society by nominating them for this worthy prize..
